Specialising in Ballroom, Latin and Freestyle Dance, we are a friendly and professional school based in West Yorkshire.
Offering classes, private tuition and social dancing for all levels, we will be sure to get you moving around the floor in no time!
When we first opened our doors, Shirley Pickering began offering classes for all ages and levels, sharing her passion for dance with our local community. Today, we continue in her footsteps, aiming to create a fun and relaxed environment where everyone can learn to dance, whether you're taking your very first steps with us or you've taken countless steps before.

Come learn with us in a more private setting. Available for an individual or a small group up to four people, perfect for polishing your routines or learning something new without the hustle and bustle of a bigger group.
Whether your focus is technique, musicality or you’re just looking for some new moves to take out dancing, you can find it here.

The Shirlane Social
Bring your shoes, smiles and lots of energy for our Ballroom Shirlane Socials.
Run once a month on a Friday evening, it gives you a chance to practise your moves in a fun, relaxed environment!
7 - 7.30pm Free Taster Dance Class (All Levels)
7.30 - 9.30pm Ballroom and Latin Dance Social
£5 per person, Light refreshments provided
